Comment:
This section of woodland is mostly managed by non-intervention except for removal of sycamore, and removing Himalayan balsam and knotweed along the riverbanks every year. Two limestone outcrop areas have been cleared but high foot trampling (nice viewpoints) may prevent calcareous grassland species establishing. Deer and squirrel impact are a known constant pressure and deer are being culled in the area. Natural regeneration noted and dead wood present throughout site.
