Unfavourable SSSI Features with no Pressures This report identifies Unfavourable Features on SSSIs that are not associated with a Pressure. Logically, a feature that is in unfavourable condition (either 'Unfavourable-Recovering', 'Unfavourable-No Change' or 'Unfavourable-Declining') should be being impacted by at least one Pressure.
Late Action Start Date This report identifies Mechanism Actions that have a Planned Action Start Date that is in the past. For example, if a Planned Action Start Date is '2026/27', then the Action will be late (aka behind) after 01/04/2026.
Late Action Completion Date This report identifies Mechanism Actions that have a Planned Action Completion Date that is in the past. For example, if a Planned Action Completion Date is '2026/27', then the Action will be late (or behind) after 01/04/2026.
Features 'Behind' This report lists features that are:
Whole Feature Assessment (WFA) Required Each SSSI Feature has an Evidence Pressure that indicates when that Feature is overdue for a WFA. If the Mechanism attached to the Evidence Pressure has a 'Planned Action Start Date' that is in the past, then a WFA is required.
No Features on Units Any Unit should have at least one Feature attached to it.
Unassigned Features on SSSIs All the Features assigned to a SSSI should also be assigned to at least one Unit within that SSSI.
Unassigned SAC, SPA, Ramsar Features All terrestrial SACs, SPAs and Ramsars will be underlain (in whole or part) by at least one SSSI. SAC features, SPA features and Ramsar features should all be assigned to at least one Unit of one of these underlying SSSIs.
Length of Comment This report identifies Pressure and Mechanism comments that are below a certain length (150 characters). A short comment is not necessarily inappropriate, but perfunctory comments that do not adequately describe an issue should be avoided. This report allows comments to be monitored more easily.
Duplicate Pressures Ideally a 'Broad-Pressure/Pressure' combination should only be used once per SSSI. This report identifies SSSIs where the same combination (e.g. 'Disease/Plant Disease') has been used more than once on the same site.
Unfavourable-Recovering error A feature that is 'Unfavourable-Recovering' should have:
No Change error Some features that are 'Unfavourable – No Change' actually meet the criteria for 'Unfavourable-Recovering' (see above). This report identifies features that have a condition of ‘No change’, but (according to the Pressures attached to them) should be ‘Unfavourable - Recovering’.
Declining error Some features that are 'Unfavourable – Declining' actually meet the criteria for 'Unfavourable-Recovering' (see above). This report identifies features that have a condition of ‘Unfavourable-Declining’, but (according to the Pressures attached to them) should be ‘Unfavourable - Recovering’.
WSU missing features Whole Site Units (WSUs) should have all the SSSI's feature allocated to them. This report identifies WSU units that are missing features.
Potentially incongruous features Occasionally Pressures are connected to features that are incongruous. For example, it's likely to be a mistake if the Pressure 'Disease/Plant Disease' has been allocated to a geological feature, or if a 'Coastal Impacts/Strandline Management' Pressure has been allocated to an upland feature. This report identifies potential errors.
Legally underpins This report lists all SSSI Units and for each Unit records any 'Designation Overlaps' where the 'Legally Underpins Linked Site' checkbox has been ticked.
Legally underpins (false) This report lists all SSSI Units and for each Unit records any 'Designation Overlaps' where the 'Legally Underpins Linked Site' checkbox has not been ticked.
