There are 6 entrances to Abbotswood LNR, 4 from the cycleway surrounding the Abbotswood housing Estate to its East and 2 off Cupernham Lane from the sites West boundary.The number 66 Bus route running from Romsey town centre to Kings Worthy, stopping at Winchester, also has stops along the roads bordering the reserve every 30 minutes meaning people can easily access site through public transport. |

| What to see: |
The reserve is made up of a mosaic of habitats with open grassland, woodland, scrub and ponds providing visitors with a varied experience throughout their walk. Often Red Kites can be seen overhead and those lucky few may see a grass snake or two basking in the sun. |
