The vegetation structure is a little polarised between tall more, mature wet and dry heath communities and areas where more frequent burning and then grazing has been concentrated. A new work plan under the current HLS agreement has been devised in order to address the these issues. Graminoid cover is also a concern and an increase in summer cattle grazing is also being looked at.

Dry Heath habitat: 85% of sample points fail on proportion of heather shoots browsed/grazed (non-pioneer), 81% of sample points fail on% of Table 1 vegn cover. Possible 20% of sample points fail on cover bare ground but unclear as to whether this
