Surface completely dry at survey, but extensive great willowherb and common sorrel suggests wetter conditions in winter. Rank nettles and dense bindweed widespread along edges. Scrub around all unit boundaries, and spreading slowly inwards through birch seedlings. Sward 25-30cm high across bulk of unit.
