Comment: This is sheep-grazed pasture with naturally undulating topography primarily of importance for its ditch system. The ditches have a range of depths and vegetation at different stages of development. There are shallow, ephemeral ditches as well as deep channels regularly maintained by the Internal Drainage Board. The emergent vegetation is dominated by common reed. Most ditches are accessible by grazing stock which helps to maintain short, species-rich margins. The grassland is not as heavily grazed as most areas but grazing was taking place at time of survey. No negative indicators were noted.
