Comment: This is sheep-grazed grazing marsh of conservation importance for its ditches. The ditches have a varied composition and structure as some are managed by Internal drainage Board and others less frequently managed with degrees of dominance by common reed. However, even where reed is prominent there are often short-grazed margins where there is higher plant diversity. Of particular note is the presence of the uncommon plant marsh mallow scattered along the banks. No negative indicators noted.
