Comment: This is an area of stabilised dunes with natural topography supporting a range of habitat types. There is an open grassland and scrub mosaic with areas of seasonal inundation giving rise to wet fen type plant communities and patches of taller herbaceous vegetation on drier ground. The majority of the grassland is heavily rabbit grazed giving rise to a very short sward conditions. This provides suitable habitat for plants of short turf, including frequent sand spurrey and stork?s-bill, with scattered ragwort. The proportion of bare ground present due to rabbit scrapes is higher than desirable.
Number of adverse condition reasons: 0
