Comment: This is two separate areas of largely unvegetated shingle with the natural shingle ridge topography intact. A range of characteristic vegetation types is present. In areas where vegetation is colonising the dominant species are false oat-grass, sea campion, wood sage, thrift and sheep's sorrel, with occasional ragwort. There are also areas of short mats of vegetation with bryophytes and lichens. Scrub cover less than 5% across the unit, mostly consisting of low-growing blackthorn and bramble. No negative indicators were noted.
