Comment: Thin strip of unmanaged woodland with a number of mature and over mature beech and yew but mainly secondary woodland dominated by ash and birch with sallow, white beam and sycamore. Scattered shrubs include dogwood, holly, privet, box, spurge laurel and buddlea (<5%). Ground flora fairly sparse due to density of canopy but includes dogs mercury, violets, mosses and ash seedlings. Plenty of fallen and standing deadwood and no negative indicators.
