Comment: Dense scrub woodland on small dry unit. Canopy is oak/alder/willow/birch, with a fringe of alder buckthorn on eastern edge. Ground flora is dense impenetrable bracken/bramble, with patches of nettle and hogweed. Few signs of remaining heath vegetation surviving under this. Ground appeared dry and Sphagnum almost absent.
