Comment: Cattle-grazed area of humid heathland adjacent to railway line in overall favourable condition, with abundant Calluna, Molinia and Erica tetralix and occasional Trichophorum cespitosum and locally frequent Carex panicea. Salix repens is rare. Vegetation height is low for heathland, averaging 7 cms in the closer-grazed areas, and it is recommended that there is some reduction in grazing pressure to enable a more varied heathland structure to occur.
Number of adverse condition reasons: 0
