Reason for adverse condition: AGRICULTURE - UNDERGRAZING,FRESHWATER - DRAINAGE,LACK OF CORRECTIVE WORKS - INAPPROPRIATE SCRUB CONTROL,
Comment: This unit was almost entirely burnt as a result of arson. It is a mixture of wet heath and mire which is unmanaged. The wet heath and mire communities are compleatly molinia dominated and require grazing by cattle and or ponies. Scrub of birch and willow is established from a large drain on the east side of the unit and is spreading across the unit. There are two other side drains damaging the mire hydrology which require blocking.
Number of adverse condition reasons: 4
