Comment: Assessment of saltmarsh feature ? The unit was found to be in a favourable condition with a mosaic habitat of low-mid community to pioneer marsh. The unit is grazed by cattle and the extent of grazing is from and including the seawall to about 50m seaward. The a narrow zonation of drift line (not assessed) going onto a mid-upper community Piccinellia maritima, Glaux maritima, Limonium vulgare; the low-mid plant community is primarily Piccinellia maritima, Salicornia spp, Atriplex portulacoides, Spartina spp and Sueda maritima SM10; SM13 and SM14 and the pioneer zone includes Salicornia spp, Aster tripolium and some Spartina spp SM4-11
