This information lists the management measures (regulatory and voluntary) that are currently in place in English Waters that either directly or indirectly help to protect the features of the site. Management is in place for licensable activities in all MPAs as all applications for licences and consents are subject to the requirements of the Conservation of Species and Habitats Regulations 2017 (as amended), the Conservation of Offshore Marine Habitats and Species Regulations 2017 or section 126 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, if they have the potential to impact on an MPA feature. Only Inshore Fisheries Conservation Authority and Marine Management Organisation byelaws are currently displayed, the information available is therefore not yet complete. Additional management measures are being collated and will be added in future stages.
