Pigneys Wood is approximately 1½ miles NNE of North Walsham and accessible from our Hall Lane car park, and from Bacton road (B1150) via the banks of the North Walsham and Dilham Canal, by two footbridges.
Train: Norwich station.

What to see: Pigneys Wood is a quiet tranquil place but is also a working woodland.
Other features at the site include a renovated barn, bird hide, reedbeds, a scrape to attract wading birds and information boards on wildflowers, butterflies, trees and birds.
More recently, oaks have been planted to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar.
