From the A1036 roundabout near Tesco's, go down Moor Lane. After about 1.6km turn right on to Alness Drive. Take the third right onto Acomb Wood Lane. Access to the site can be gained from the pub/local shops car park.

What to see: Mixed woodland and ancient grassland in the middle of a large housing estate. Uncommon woodland plants include sanicle and twayblade.
