From the M180 Scunthorpe, follow the signs for Flixborough Industrial Estate. At the roundabout go straight on and turn right past Poundstretcher. Follow the road to the top. By foot, you can locate this site by parking at Atkinson's Warren reserve and following the bottom path to Phoenix Parkway road. Information Board at the site entrance. The site is near to a bus route.

What to see: Formerly part of Atkinson's Warren. A woodland on acid grassland. Ground flora typical of acid grassland with harebell, common storksbill, gorse and yarrow. An important habitat linking Atkinson's Warren to Flixborough. Known to provide habitat to deer, bats, squirrels, rabbits as well as home to numerous species of birds and invertebrates.
