What to see: The LNR is part of Romney Warren Country Park, and hosts part of the Dungeness Romney Marsh Rye Bay SSSI. Site has fixed dune grassland with stands of mature trees and grazing pasture. Important seasonal ponds with great crested newts, diving beetles and dragonflies.
