The reserve is situated adjacent to the B1046 Bourn - Toft road, approximately 1 mile west of Toft.

What to see: The site is also known as Kingston Amenity Area LNR. The reserve is on part of the old Bedford to Cambridge railway line.
Unimproved grassland, scrub, wetland and woodland. The grassland is good for butterflies and wildflowers. The woodland and scrub on the sides of the railway bank are good for insects, birds and mammals.
The wetland is between the railway bank and the road has large pollarded willows.
