6 miles southeast of Loughborough in Mountsorrel. Leave the A6 and turn right down Granite way and then left on to Leicester Road and into Mountsorrel. The reserve is found on Halestead road.

What to see: Unimproved flower rich pasture with rigg and furrow. A granite outcrop in the field is good for mosses and lichens. The hawthorn and sloe hedge are good for birds including yellowhammer and linnet.
