Car - B2017 Badsell Road off the main A228 Maidstone Road.
Trains: Paddock Wood Station - three quarters of a mile walk from the reserve.
Buses: 205 - Autocar Bus Service - stops outside the reserve.
The entrance to the reserve is approximately 300 metres from the junction of Maidstone and Badsell Road on the left hand side, adjacent to the Badsell allotments.

What to see: Foal Hurst Wood is a small coppiced woodland Nature Reserve in the Weald of Kent.
The site is comprised of 29 acres of woodland plus 11 acres of meadowland at its northern border.
Green and Greater Spotted Woodpeckers thrive here, while in spring there are carpets of bluebells along with primroses and orchids.
